    IEEE standards:

       802.3 – Ethernet

       802.3u – Fast Ethernet

       802.3z – Gigabit Ethernet

       802.3ab – Gigabit Ethernet over copper (1000Base-T)

       802.3ae – 10 Gigabit Ethernet

    Gigabit Ethernet was the result of merging IEEE 802.3 Ethernet and ANSI X3T11 FibreChannel.

    GBIC/SFP types:

       1000Base-SX

       1000Base-LX/LH

       1000Base-ZX

       1000Base-T

       GigaStack(Cisco Proprietary)

    Fiber modules take the Rx fiber on the left and Tx on the right (when facing the module).

    Interface error disabling can be tuned in global config:
