CCNA® (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification validates the knowledge and skills required to install, operate and troubleshoot a small to medium-sized routed and switched network, including the ability to implement and troubleshoot protocols to manage addressing and authentication, as well as establish and troubleshoot connections to service providers over a WAN.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for CCNA certification.
Courses: Two courses are recommended for CCNA 640-802 certification:
- Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices, Part 1 (ICND1)
- Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices, Part 2 (ICND2)
Exams: CCNA 640-802 composite exam or 640-822 ICND1 (CCENT) and 640-816 ICND2
